The 2025 Future Leader Scholarship Winners

Generations Federal Credit Union is happy to announce the recipients of the 2025 Future Leader Scholarship, who will each receive a one-time $4,000 award for education expenses. Our scholarship program is designed to support students who have demonstrated their commitment to academic achievement and community leadership.
These scholarship recipients shared instances where their leadership required them to demonstrate collaboration and teamwork to achieve a common goal. We’re proud to award and recognize these future leaders within our community.

Robert “Bobby” Guerra Memorial Scholar
Aleena Shaji is recognized as the Robert “Bobby” Guerra Memorial Scholar in recognition of her commitment to community involvement. Aleena serves on the Bibliotech Student Advisory Council to help promote digital literacy initiatives, she mentors young musicians as the Liturgical Choir Leader at her church, and she has coordinated, organized and led two Breast Cancer and Health Fair Symposiums to raise awareness about healthy living and disease prevention within the community.
Victoria Acosta
Leroy Harvey Honorary Scholar
Victoria Acosta is recognized as the Leroy Harvey Honorary Scholar in recognition of her dedication to education. Victoria is majoring in Education at Texas State University to fulfill a life-long goal of becoming a teacher for young children. She worked as a Youth Leader Instructor for Pre-K and Kindergarten at Northside Independent School District and also led the development of a school project that incorporated music into early childhood learning, advocating the importance of music and arts into children’s education.
