As we continue to enhance our credit union member experience and, in an effort to protect our valued members through the identity verification process, Generations FCU must properly verify the identity of anyone conducting a transaction on any account. Identity verification will be completed each time a transaction is conducted.

For all in-person transactions, we must be able to identify any person with whom we are conducting business. Both members and nonmembers must present a valid photo identification for all transactions, to include but not limited to, deposits, withdrawals, loan or credit card payments, check cashing, cash advances, currency exchanges, savings bond redemption, and the purchase of official checks or money orders.

We reserve the right to refuse the transaction if acceptable identification is not provided by you or a third party conducting a transaction on your behalf.

Proper and consistent identity verification helps us ensure the security of your account(s) by preventing anyone from conducting business on your accounts without your authorization and/or trying to commit fraud.

For this reason, GFCU must verify the identity of every transacting person and will retain this information within our system for all transactions that are made.
