Corporate Cup 2022 Charity Challenge

As part of this year’s San Antonio Sports Corporate Cup Charity Challenge, the entire GFCU team — staff, members and community partners included — raised more than $45,000 for charity, collected more than 200 pounds of food for our neighbors in need, and donated more than 50 units of blood.

Responders First Foundation Golf Tournament

Like Generations FCU, the Responders First Foundation was founded to serve those who serve. The non-profit assists firefighters with an assortment of items and tasks during unforeseen hardships — groceries, yard work, medical supplies, etc. We’re honored to be able to support their service to the community!

National Police Week

On May 10th, we kicked off National Police Week by delivering custom-made cookies to all SAPD substations and surrounding municipality stations. This sweet token of appreciation was our way of reminding our heroes in blue that there is not a moment where their commitment to our communities is not appreciated. These men and women go above and beyond their duties, day in and day out, and we are thankful for their service! #GFCUCARES

International Firefighters Day 2022

We celebrated International Firefighters’ Day on May 4th in the best way we know how – by giving back! GFCU employees demonstrated their gratitude for these brave first responders by teaming up to deliver Firehouse Subs Sandwiches to all 56 SAFD Fire Stations across San Antonio. Thank you to the men and women of our area fire departments who risk their lives every day to keep us safe! #GFCUCares
