San Antonio Food Bank Day of Serving
The #GFCUCares Team had a fantastic time inspiring young minds at Youth Code Jam. This organization strives to make computer science and coding fun, sociable, and equitable for all students and their grown-ups through inclusive programming, Teacher Professional Development, and free community outreach events. Our AVP, Samantha Olivarez, is on the Board of Youth Code Jam helping empower young minds in STEM within our community. To learn more about what they do visit youthcodejam.org.
San Antonio Food Bank Day of Serving
The #GFCUCares Team made a significant impact at the Annual Day of Serving! Over 175 dedicated employees volunteered their time at the San Antonio Food Bank, sorting, packaging, and organizing food for distribution. Together we broke two records: the most volunteers in a single session and a whopping 20,022 meals packed! We’re excited to show up and work for our neighbors and community who are facing food insecurity.
